From this early of the year at 5,500, it closes at 2979. That's a drop of 45% in the Shanghai stock market indices.

That's why it does not make sense to invest on China Unit Trust that goes 1 way. Having drop +45%, I think it wud take 5-7 years for the market to pick itself up and go back to the 5,500 range. Sad but true !
